Hi Thanos ,
ReplyDeleteVery impressive.I'm surprised because the motors , gearboxes , inverters are very quiet. The run very smooth like all positioning.
The difference with Jeremy's plateform is the arm longer.
Jeremy's said that he has 15cm arm long and in this video they look shorter.
Very , very impressive , an another 6dof with your amc....
Best Regards
Wonderful blog & good post. Its really helpful for me, awaiting for more new post. Keep Blogging!
ReplyDeleteTemperature calibration
Hi Thanos, how do you compensate for the non linear motion of the disc/lever setup ?

DeleteThis is done in the software. Its not only calculating the 6DOF platform positions but it does it in relation to the angular output angles of the motors. This is supported by the 6DOF plugin of x-sim3 and by Ian's 6DOF BFF software as well.
